A broadside copy of a resolution adopted by the Albany Common Council to pay tribute to Major General Stephen Van Rensselaer and the troops under his command for the "gallantry and valor they displayed in the attack upon Queenston Heights" during the War of 1812. The tribute came in the form of a reception at the home of the widow Douw and an escort to Van Rensselear's home.
